Passing the Torch

Hey guys,

So it’s pretty obvious from the inactivity of the blog that things have gone downhill for Caitlin and myself. And we felt that it would be important to tell you guys straight up instead of just shutting the blog down.

We started the blog just as a joke with viral aspirations and we met every goal that we set for ourselves. A few weeks ago, we finally hit 70 followers which was pretty much the goal I had set from the start: to get fans in the double digits. And we’ve covered everything, from the original videos to the spin off memes. And you guys were there for that.

Over the last few weeks of writing, Caitlin and I had grown apart to such an extent that  the only real time we spoke was just before posting something up or sending each other a relevant link. We changed so much that the people we were by the end of it, probably wouldn’t have been friends if they were to meet for the first time again. It’s a totally normal function of growing up, like how your high school bf/gf that meant so much to you would probably be the last person you would date at 30, ya know? That’s where we got to. It’s not sad.

It would be more sad if we stopped changing and growing and kept posting the same shit for years like Perez Hilton. For me, that would be a nightmare.

Thank you so much for your support from beginning to end. Thanks Tumblr for being such a great host and FuckYeahNPH for getting us a shit load of hits.

I hope I have been a positive example and not a bad influence and I really want you to know when you stop me on the street and I don’t know what to say, it’s not because I don’t appreciate you, its just not something I’ll ever really get used to.
